¹On September 7, Gim Gyeong-hak and Gim Yeong-hak came before Taemonim.²Gyeong-hak reverently related, “As a group of us were meditating at Suwangam Hermitage on Moaksan Mountain, Sangjenim’s Holy Spirit appeared before us and rebuked us for having lost contact with You over the past decades.³Sangjenim warned us, ‘You shall meet with misfortune if you do not immediately seek out your Mother, escort Her back with you in honor, make amends, and renew your bond with Her.’”⁴Weeping tears of regret, he continued, “The two of us came here on the group’s behalf. We request that You graciously forgive our past failings and return with us to preside over our meditation for three days.”

⁵“The past is like a dream,” Taemonim said. “Though My failing health does not permit Me to go, I cannot refuse a venerable septuagenarian who comes to Me with such an earnest request.” She left for Suwangam Hermitage with the two men.

⁶At the hermitage, a group led by Bak Gong-u had gathered to meditate. Among them were Gim Gyeong-hak, Gim Yeong-hak, Yi Seong-yeong, Gim Su-eung, Yi Jung-seong and his wife, and others.⁷As Taemonim guided the meditation, Gim Su-eung received divine power, enabling him to wield the power of creation-transformation to control the winds and clouds at will.

⁸The meditation ended after three days, then Taemonim visited Geumsansa Temple on September 11 and afterward journeyed to Yonghwa-dong Village, where She remained for two days.⁹While there, She summoned Yi Sang-ho and Yi Seong-yeong and commanded them, “The reproduced portrait has many faults, so have another painted.”

¹⁰Taemonim then produced the dragon and phoenix flag that She had brought with Her from Oseongsan Mountain, planted the flag personally, and proclaimed, ¹¹“This place shall become the field of flowers of the Lord of the Dragon Flower Paradise, and so you must sincerely welcome certain persons.”

¹²Taemonim left Yonghwa-dong Village on the thirteenth and returned to the Oseongsan Dojang.
