○ Oleksandr Ishchuk was born 17 April 1977 in Kyiv, Ukraine.

○ In 1994-1999 was a student in historical faculty of the Kyiv national university named by Taras Shevchenko. Specialization – history of Ukraine in XX century.

○ In 2005 became candidate of historical sciences (Phd), theme of dissertation - Ukrainian liberation movement in 1939-1955.

○ In 2001-2013 worked in State archives of Security service of Ukraine. Investigated the genocide of the Ukrainian people – Golodomor 1932-1933, activity of the Ukrainian liberation movement in ХХ century, other actual themes.

○ From 2015 – works in National historical museum of Ukraine.

○ Author more than 200 publications from history of Ukraine (books, articles). Constantly participates in televisional projects and transmissions from history of Ukraine.

○ Interested in the debatable questions of history of Ukraine, development of world civilization, co-operation of Ukraine with othercountries of the world.
