¹Sangjenim revealed, “Now is the age of seeking out the beginning and returning to the origin.²In this time when blood lineages will be clarified, all who change or disavow their fathers and ancestors or sever others from their roots will die.”

³Sangjenim one day declared, “You cannot serve heaven and earth if you do not revere your own parents.⁴Heaven and earth are the parents of humanity, and parents are the heaven and earth of their children.⁵If a descendant disregards their ancestors, ancestors in turn will disregard the descendant.⁶Since the ancestral spirits oppose Jesus, he will not be able to participate in the grand court that conducts the Work of Renewing Heaven and Earth.⁷In this dawn of the Later Heaven’s autumn destiny in which the seeds of humanity are to be selected, those who disregard their ancestral spirits will find it impossible to survive.”

⁸Sangjenim also declared, “It is improper that you do not revere your ancestors and instead revere me, so you must hold ancestral memorial offering rituals with complete devotion.⁹The holding of ancestral memorial offering rituals by descendants, who received their bodies through the grace of their ancestors, accords with the virtue of heaven and earth.”
