이 때는 해원시대
1 이 때는 해원시대(解寃時代)라. 이제 앞으로 모든 참혹한 일이 생겨나느니라.
2 그러므로 내가 신명을 조화(調和)하여 만고의 원을 끄르고
3 상생의 도로써 조화도장(造化道場)을 열어 만고에 없는 선경세계를 세우고자 하노라.
인류의 원한의 뿌리, 요임금의 아들 단주
4 이제 원한의 역사의 뿌리인 당요(唐堯)의 아들 단주(丹朱)가 품은 깊은 원(寃)을 끄르면
5 그로부터 수천 년 동안 쌓여 내려온 모든 원한의 마디와 고가 풀릴지라.
6 대저 당요가 그 아들 단주를 불초(不肖)하다 하여 천하를 맡기지 않고 그의 두 딸과 천하를 순(舜)에게 전하여 주니
7 단주의 깊은 원을 그 누가 만분의 하나라도 풀어 주리오.
8 마침내 순이 창오(蒼梧)에서 죽고 두 왕비는 소상강(瀟湘江)에 빠져 죽었느니라.
9 그러므로 단주 해원을 첫머리로 하여 천지대세를 해원의 노정으로 나아가게 하노라.
10 이제 사람도 이름 없는 사람이 기세(氣勢)를 얻고, 땅도 이름 없는 땅에 길운(吉運)이 돌아오느니라.

¹“Now is the age of the resolution of bitterness and grief.²I will bring harmony to the spirits and resolve their bitterness that has accumulated over the ages,³and I will establish the Government of Creation-Transformation through the dao of mutual life-bettering and life-saving to raise up the unprecedented world of the Paradise of Immortality.”
The Root of Humanity’s Bitterness and Grief: Danzhu, Son of Yao
⁴“If the deep bitterness of the son of Yao, Danzhu —the root of the history of bitterness and grief—is resolved,⁵the knots of all the bitterness and grief that began with him and amassed over thousands of years will unravel.
⁶“Yao regarded his son Danzhu as unworthy and did not bequeath the kingdom to him, instead giving Shun the kingdom as well as his two daughters in marriage.⁷So who could have possibly relieved even one ten thousandth of Danzhu’s deep bitterness?⁸Eventually, Shun died at Cangwu, and the two queens flung themselves to their deaths in the Xiaoxiang River.
⁹“Therefore, undertaking the resolution of Danzhu’s bitterness and grief as the starting point, I will now direct the grand tides of heaven and earth to course along the path of the resolution of all bitterness and grief.
¹⁰“From this moment forth, the unknown among people will ascend to power, and the unknown among places will know auspicious destinies.”
